CUBASOLAR international workshop to address sustainable energy

Specialists from several countries gathered at the 15th International Workshop of the Cuban Society for the Promotion of Renewable Energy Sources and Environmental Respect (CUBASOLAR) will talk today about energy sustainable human settlements.

ScD Dania González Couret, from the José Antonio Echeverría Technological University of Havana (CUJAE), will make the presentation of the topic, followed by ScD José A. Guardado Chacón of the Forum of the Movement of Affected People, attended by delegates from Latin American nations and the Biogas, Water and Sanitation Movements or Networks.

On Tuesday, CUBASOLAR's 15th International Workshop saluted the 30th anniversary of the organization, established to contribute to the knowledge and nationwide use of renewable energy sources such as biomass, biogas, and water, tidal, wind, solar and thermal power.
