Cuban Foreign Minister (FM) Bruno Rodriguez presents at the United Nations General Assembly the report Need to put an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba by the United States of America, accompanying resolution 70/5.
Rodriguez participates in the plenary session of the United Nations, where over the last 24 years the international community has ratified its condemnation to the U.S. siege imposed on Cuba for over half a century now.
The resolution presented by Cuba will be submitted for consideration to the 193 member states of the world organization based in New York.
The economic damages caused to Cuba by the criminal policy of successive U.S. administrations have been estimated at 753.6 billion dollars, taking into account the depreciation of that currency as compared to the value of gold.
