Cuban president Raul Castro met today with Uruguayan vice president Fernando Sendic, who is paying an official visit to the Caribbean island.

According to a press release, the exchange took place in a friendly environment and both leaders confirmed the progresses in the bilateral relationship that have taken place. They also coincided in the will of fostering it.

Likewise, Raul and Sendic tackled subjects from the international agenda.

Cuban FM Bruno Rodriguez also attended the meeting.
