Venezuela Honors Jose Marti

On the 163 anniversary of the birth of Jose Marti, and 135 anniversary of his arrival in Venezuela, began today in Caracas the remembrance days for the National Hero of Cuba. The activities, to be held until January 30, started on Wednesday with a tribute at the Bolivar-Marti monument located in the Camino de los Libertadores, in La Pastora Parish, Caracas.
In the Casa Jose Marti of the Altagracia Parish, also in the capital, a cycle of Cuban cinema was inaugurated, and will be held cinema forums about the Apostle and the culture of the Americas.
Among the activities to be undertaken during the next 10 days in Venezuela is included a day to promote literature, to be held in public libraries nationwide.
Also, will be inaugurated the exhibitions 'Rostros de Bolivar en el Arte Popular' and 'Fotos de la Revolucion Cubana'.
