Cordoba´s businessmen to seek market opportunities in Cuba

Cordoba´s chamber of Commerce, with the collaboration of the City Council of Cordoba, is assessing the possibility to visit Cuba with a commercial purpose. This visit goal is actually to improve and strengthen trade and entrepreneurial links between the two entities and seek ways to expand Cordoba´s companies by taking chances with this new stage in Cuba´s daily life.

Cuban ambassador in Spain, Juan Francisco Montalban, offered a news conference yesterday. 50 Cordoba´s businessmen attended. Such conference focused on providing information about the real chances of investment as well as Cuba´s social-economic and political reality.

Ignacio Fernandez de Mesa, Cordoba chamber of commerce chairman, stated that commercial exchange between Cordoba and Cuba has increased 50% in the last year, reaching the figure of 1.200.000 Euros.
