President of the Republic of Nicaragua Arrives to Cuba

President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega Saavedra, arrived, this morning,  to the International Airport Jose Marti this morning to participate at the ALBA-TCP  Extraordinary Summit on Ebola.

The Nicaraguan President praised the people of Cuba for its solidarity with the people of Nicaragua and the rest of the World.

“We are  honored to be here in this heroic nation that has characterized for the development in the area of health and health is the issue that summons us here today because of the Ebola outbreak that affects  the brother nations of Africa and has been imported to other nations”, added Ortega.

The President of the Central American country highlighted that the Summit recall the legacy of Commander Hugo Chavez Frias who, together with Fidel, founded the Project for integration ALBA.

Ortega was welcome by deputy ministers of Foreign Affairs, Abelardo Moreno, and Public Health, Alfredo Gonzalez, as well as the Ambassador of Nicaragua in Havana, Luis Cabrera, among other officials of the Cuban Chancery.
