Díaz-Canel Receives Credentials from 10 New Ambassadors

Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, today received the Letters of Credentials from ten new ambassadors who will officially begin their duties in the country.
According to a thread from the Cuban Presidency on the social network X, the head of state officially welcomed the diplomats at the Palace of the Revolution, reaffirming the Cuban government’s support for their work and expressing the desire to strengthen bilateral relations.
Díaz-Canel received the Letters of Credentials from the ambassadors Yves Patrick Lihau Moleli of the Democratic Republic of the Congo; Ratnayake Mudiyanselage Mahinda Dasa Ratnayake of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka; Zabihollah Naderi of the Islamic Republic of Iran; and Simón Djatwoko Irwantoro Soekamo of the Republic of Indonesia.
The ambassadors presenting credentials in Cuba also included Anna Kristina Craenen of the Kingdom of Sweden; Raphael Trannoy of the French Republic; Mathias Kende of the Kingdom of Belgium; Jan Urban of the European Union; Shashi Jayakumar of the Republic of Singapore; and Alfred Gritci of the Republic of Malta.
