Fidel and Chavez: Images of an infinite loyalty

The photo exhibition Chavez y Fidel lealtad infinita (Chavez and Fidel, infinite loyalty) is still open to the public at the ALBA Cultural Center in Havana as part of the tributes paid to both great leaders of Latin America.

The exhibition was carried out by the company PDVSA Cuba with a careful selection of photos that captures unforgettable moments of such friendship that was fruitful for people in Latin America.

In the exhibition rooms of the cultural center, the panels contain photos and graphics that are much more than a historical rapprochement, a spiritual remembrance, always needed in these times of unity.

Over the significance of the work, Betsy Rojas, head of the ALBA Cultural Center, commented to Cubasi:

“Our main goal as cultural center is to promote culture and history in Latin America and the Caribbean, emphasizing on member states of ALBA. In this regard, we want the people of Cuba to know more about the life of Chavez and the relation between the two Commanders. Such relation had an impact not only on Cuba and Venezuela, but also on the ALBA and CELAC. Being part of this homage is paramount for us, as a way to confirm our commitment to the legacy of Chavez and Fidel.”
