The UN agency system based in Cuba helps in the recovery actions that are taking place in the municipalities affected by hurricane Matthew. The port Guillermon Moncada from Santiago de Cuba is one of those entities grateful to the help provided.

The UN is contributing with essential resources such as sheets, mosquito nets, 16,000 pieces of materials for roofing, 12,000 mattresses, more than 15,000 tarps, 2,000 tons of food, 40,000 water tanks, 7,000 cooking kits, and other agricultural materials.
