World Boxing Regrets Passing of Renowned Cuban Pugilist

The world boxing regretted the passing on Wednesday of renowned Cuban boxer Pedro Orlando Reyes at 65.
Reyes (51 kilo division) was medalist at world, Pan-Am and Central American and Caribbean championships.
The president of the Cuban Sports Institute Osvaldo Vento extended his condolences to Reyes’ family and friends on his X account. “His legacy of dedication and sport excellence will prevail in the memory of our nation,” Vento wrote.
