Tokyo, Oct 6 (Prensa Latina) Cuban slugger Dayan Viciedo on Wednesday hit his 17th home run of the season in the game of his team, the Cunichi Dragons, with Hiroshima Toyo Carp, which the former lost 3 to 7.

Viciedo also hit a single out of four times at bat and drove in a run, so his average totalled .279 and 67, respectively.

His fellow countryman and catcher, Ariel Martinez, came in as an emergency starter and hit a single, so his average rose to .217.
