Venezuela has treatment to fight Covid-19 despite blockade

Caracas, Jul 27 (Prensa Latina) President Nicolas Maduro assured that despite the US blockade, the nation currently has all necessary treatments and resources to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

Maduro pointed out that Venezuela has many friendly countries that allow the purchase, often in secret, of medicines to fight the virus.

Among them he mentioned China, Russia, Cuba, Turkey, India, South Africa, Vietnam, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO).

Given the exponential increase in the contagion curve in some regions of the country, among which the Capital District is the first, the Executive took urgent measures to contain the pandemic.

One of the restrictions is the extreme quarantine in Caracas, capital of the country, Miranda, bordering states and others of greater incidence.
