Cuba is one of tourist destinations recommended by USA Today newspaper despite the fact that Washington bans US citizens from visiting the Caribbean nation.
In the article, travel expert Dave Stamboulis praised Cuba and reviewed some of the country´s not-to-miss tourist sites including Viñales, in the west of the country; Trinidad, in the central region; as well as Havana and its historic center.
USA Today 10 Best section collects and publishes independent and unbiased travel tips from around the world.
According to Stamboulis, Cuba 'has it all', as it has miles of white sand beach and crystal clear waters, colonial architecture, vintage cars from the 1950s, music, nature, among other attractions.
Cuba has nine sites declared as World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, each one unique, remarkable and beautiful, according to the publication that also highlighted the country´s majestic flora and fauna.
