The Cuban vaccine candidate remains top priorities of the Cuban scientific community, which constantly assesses the results of its clinical trials.
Yury Valdes, deputy director of the Finlay Vaccine Institute, reported that after vaccinating the second 20-volunteer group in the trial, aged between 60 and 80 years, the candidate's safety was verified by the country's drug regulatory institution.
On Twitter, Yury Valdes published that 'after 40 vaccinated subjects, Soberana 01 continues on the path of proving its safety.'
