The Peace and Solidarity Council of Sri Lanka today strongly condemned the reinstatement of Cuba in the list created by the United States of nations sponsoring terrorism.
In a statement, the organization also called for the lifting of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade that Washington has maintained for more than 60 years against the Cuban people.
As shameful, it described the decision of the recently installed Executive in the White House.
According to the note, Joe Biden’s predecessor government is equally responsible, because it only removed Cuba from the spurious list at the end of its administration and after keeping Cuba for four years in that unjust category.
