Moscow, Jan 20 (Prensa Latina) The spokesman for the Russian presidency, Dmitry Peskov, warned today about the growing involvement of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) in Ukraine.

Peskov noted that ‘so far we see that the conflict is developing in an upward spiral, as the indirect and sometimes direct involvement of NATO countries in this conflict increases’.

According to the TASS news agency, the Kremlin press chief noted that the North Atlantic military bloc demonstrates in each statement its political will to further expand such cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Peskov also lamented the commitment of a number of countries that are deluded by the alleged possibility of a Ukrainian victory on the battlefield.

‘Undoubtedly, it is a dramatic deception and the West will regret it more than once.

Therefore, it all really boils down to the fact that the conflict is degrading and provoking additional tension in an upward spiral,’ the spokesman commented.

On February 24, Russia began the military operation to ‘demilitarize and denazify’ Ukraine and ensure the Eurasian nation’s security.
