Public Health Ministry reports 68 Covid-19 cases in Cuba

The Cuban Ministry of Public Health on Sunday reported that 68 people tested positive for Covid-19, so the total number of contagions since March has increased to 8,782.
According to the report, 10,009 samples were tested. Of the total number of new patients, 27 were contacts of confirmed cases, 40 were infected abroad, and in one case, the source of contagion has not been established.
Of all 68 cases, 40 are women and 28 are men, including 49 patients who were asymptomatic when the tests were made. Cuba currently reports 681 Covid-19 patients, 673 of whom are evolving well, while one patient is in critical condition and seven are seriously ill at intensive care units nationwide.
No death was reported, so the death toll remains at 136 since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country in March.
The Ministry of Public Health noted that 54 patients were discharged from hospitals, so the total number of recovered patients is 7,963.
The report adds that of all 68 cases, four are from Artemisa province, 28 from Havana, three from Mayabeque, seven from Cienfuegos, six from Villa Clara, two from Sancti Spiritus, one from Ciego de Avila, six from Camagüey, four from Granma, four from Holguin, two from Santiago de Cuba and one from Guantanamo.
