The Cuban Art Building of the National Museum of Fine Arts (MNBA) in this capital is preparing its stage for the performance, on Saturday, July 5, of Peruvian flutist Cesar Peredo, marking the 204th anniversary of Peru's independence.

The concert also features performances by Argentine flutist Rodrigo Sosa and prominent Cuban musician Orlando Valle “Maraca” and his Camerata Cortes.

Cesar Peredo’s repertoire includes forms of jazz, folklore, and classical music.

The Peruvian musician was principal flutist, for 25 years, of the Lima Philharmonic Orchestra and also works as a composer.

He joined world-renowned flutists in 2023 to produce the CD “Flautas Gigantes” (Giant Flutes), produced by “Maraca,” musician Joaquin Betancourt, and musicologist Elsida Gonzalez.
