Perpetrator of multiple murders arrested in Cuban province

Joint forces of the Cuban Ministry of the Interior in eastern Ciego de Avila province arrested the perpetrator of multiple murders last Saturday in the town of Ceballos, Invasor newspaper reported on Monday.

The source noted that the investigation showed that the event was associated with a robbery at home of two of the victims; and the stolen goods and the weapon used to perpetrate the crime were recovered.

The criminal investigation is under way in order to bring the accused to justice.

Among the victims were four-year-old Richard Dariel Núñez, as well as Lester Rivadeneira Rodríguez, 17; Yamila Reyes Tamayo, 29; and Raysa Rodriguez Perez de Corcho, 50.
