Acosta Danza to Present Two Works in the United Kingdom

Two productions by Cuban dancer and choreographer Carlos Acosta will be presented in the United Kingdom in 2026, the company Acosta Danza announced today on its Facebook page.

“The Nutcracker in Havana will magically open the month of January, and in the spring, Carmen will bring all its passion to the stage,” stated the post on the social network.

The director of the ensemble, Carlos Acosta, described it as “wonderful” to see the company performing The Nutcracker in Havana these days.

On his Facebook page, the also director of the Birmingham Royal Ballet expressed pride in the company's dancers for embarking on another “fantastic” tour.

Acosta invited his followers on the social network to enjoy The Nutcracker in Havana, which in January returns to stages in the British cities of Sheffield, Aberdeen, Inverness, Chester, York, Edinburgh, and Norwich.
