These are possessive pronouns that in Spanish grammar have not suffered variations, but in our Cuban chests it seems that they are shifting.

And it worries, and it hurts, because "what’s ours", "what belongs to us", lately it would seem that it’s inching away from everyday life. At least not as it should be.

The staircase in the photo was built a few months ago as part of taking care of the neighborhoods and communities, in this case, La Dionisia.

Entire hours of work under the sun, first in the construction period and later in its conditioning with ornamental plants and grass.

But already "our" staircase, which enables the pedestrian movement in the neighborhood, soon it will be impassable due to the weeds growing there more and more.

It was a social work that involved an investment, including the green areas. But none of the neighbors had to pay a dime and, probably, almost none of them know how much it cost.

An old children's song reminded that "To go up to heaven you need/ a large staircase and a small one ».

To go up to the heavens of an elementary quality of life, of a basic good living for Us, what kind of stairs do we need?
