The presence of the popular orchestra of Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco in the United States is today for Daniel Donayre the continuity of his passion for Cuban music, which "I respect a lot," he said.

General producer of the band's current tour through different U.S. cities on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its founding, Donayre expressed in dialogue with Prensa Latina his joy on the way the public welcomes them in each presentation.

"Manolito celebrating 30 years of artistic career in the United States, I think it's a blessing," he said about this tour that "began nicely."

With almost 10 years in the work of promoting Cuban music in the United States, Donayre is owed, among his most recent endeavors, the tour of Pupi y Los que Son Son orchestra, in 2022.

Regarding Manolito's presentation in New York, he highlighted that they will play in one of the most legendary places, where stars have passed and anticipated that it will be at full capacity.

In New York, Cuban music is loved and that "makes me think that the day of the concert on Friday a lot of people will come, as it happened in Miami," he said.

A number of people crowded at the entrance door where the orchestra performed there in Miami, "there were many Cubans who really love their music despite everything," he emphasized.

Manolito y su  barely have time to rest, they will offer 12 concerts, three of which have already been performed.

In the schedule ahead they have gigs in Los Angeles and San Francisco (California) and in Seattle (Washington); in addition to those planned in New York and Atlanta (Georgia).

Composer, arranger, and self-taught pianist, Manolito Simonet once expressed that he organized his Trabuco with all his musical heritage and be praised because his orchestra is undoubtedly one of the most representative of Cuban popular music.
