Jazz returns to the Cuban capital with U.S. artist Laurin Talese

U.S. classical and jazz singer Laurin Talese Frierson will offer a concert today at the emblematic Marti Theater in this capital, as part of celebrations in her country for women and the jazz genre.

Her visit to Cuba began on April 1 and will end on April 6, a tour that includes an exchange with women artists on the island.

Talese Frierson is an actress, composer, and singer who has captivated audiences since childhood with her original tone and moving lyrics.

This collaborative encounter results from a joint partnership between the U.S. Embassy here, the Cuban Ministry of Culture, and the Cuban Institute of Music.
