Havana, March 21 (RHC)-- The 18th International Convention and Fair 'Informática 2022' runs from Monday through March 25 in Cuba.
Its goal is to join efforts in pursuit of digital transformation. It will take place both at the Havana Convention Palace and through Fevexpo, Cuba's first platform for virtual meetings, where attendees will be able to attend both the spaces designed for scientific debate and the exhibition fair.
The executive general secretary of the Organizing Committee, Magda Brito, told the press that more than 270 national and foreign papers will be presented from more than 14 countries, including Mexico, Spain, China, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and France.
She also announced the organization of 48 conferences, eight of them keynote lectures, on aspects related to artificial intelligence, free software, and digitalization as an economic and social cornerstone.
"One of the most important objectives of the meeting lies in the promotion of the national industry of computer applications and services and its capabilities and the integration with non-state forms of management," he added.
Nine events related to telecommunications, cybersecurity, the software industry, electronics, robotics, and computer sciences are planned for this edition.
The International Workshop on Information and Communication Technologies in the management and innovation of organizations is one of the most important events planned.
Clara Alonso, president of the Scientific Committee of the event, said that three fundamental topics would be addressed: digital transformation in organizations, the safe use of technologies, and knowledge management and innovation in organizations.
She explained that the conferences would deal with the role of the Scientific and Technological Park of Havana and motivation in the software industry.
Also, the 10th International Congress on technology, e-commerce, and digital content will be held, which will include presentations on computer security in commercial transactions, among other topics.
