Through the voices of key figures, CubaSí has received an invitation to the upcoming edition of the Salsa Festival in Cuba. The details were shared by Brayan Álvarez, son and musical heir of distinguished Adalberto Álvarez:
“… This year, we are once again part of the Salsa Festival. We extend our gratitude to my brother Maykel Blanco and the entire Festival staff for always counting on us. We look forward to welcoming everyone from February 19 to 23.”
The venue for this grand event remains unchanged, as Manolín, known as El Médico de la Salsa, reminds us to ensure no one misses out:
“On February 23, we will be at the Havana Salsa Festival at Club 500, located at Calzada and 12, Vedado. Manolín is ready to go!”
Samuel Formell, leader of the unstoppable musical powerhouse Los Van Van, also joins in:
“I want to invite Cuba, all Cubans, and the entire world to the International Salsa Festival in Cuba, featuring the greatest artists of Cuban Salsa.”
Finally, Alexander Abreu, always at the forefront, delivers compelling reasons not to miss this extraordinary event:
“I’m inviting you all to the Salsa Festival —another edition of this magnificent celebration that is incredibly important for Cuban music, our musicians, and the people. I’m thrilled to participate once again. I’ve been part of this festival every year, and I hope it continues for years to come. It’s no secret that people from several countries come together, turning our capital into a huge celebration. This is about preserving and strengthening the music that defines us, ensuring it carries the same power and energy as always.”
