Cuba reports 103 Covid-19 cases and no deaths

Havana, Jul 25 (Prensa Latina) Cuba on Monday reported 103 new Covid-19 cases, once again more than 100 contagions in a day, and no deaths due to complications related to the disease in the last 24 hours.

According to the daily report from the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), 482 of 490 active cases nationwide are clinically stable, while eight patients are being treated in intensive care units: four are in a critical condition and four are seriously ill.

So far, Cuba has accumulated 1,107,510 contagions since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country in March 2020, and the death toll remains at 8,529.

According to the official report, 795 patients are in hospitals or at home nationwide, 305 of whom are suspected cases.

At a press briefing on television, MINSAP added that 64 patients were discharged after recovering from the disease, so the total number of recovered patients rose to 1,098,432 (99.2 percent of all cases).
