Cuba reiterates call to end the genocide of the Palestinian people

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, reiterated today the call for an end to the genocide of the Palestinian people and advocated allowing the entry and immediate delivery of sufficient humanitarian aid to Gaza.
According to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), almost three thousand malnourished children risk dying before the eyes of their families in Gaza, while the risk of normalizing the situation of minors crowded with their families in camps increases after moving numerous times.
The Fund's spokesman, James Elder, recently warned that the Israeli offensive and obstacles to the entry of humanitarian aid catapult children into a nutritional crisis.
He assured that the destruction of health facilities, including specialized centers essential to prevent malnutrition, has seriously hampered efforts to address severe hunger among children in a context of constant bombings and attacks.
Elder emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire to address the humanitarian crisis, bring the hostages home, and allow the delivery of aid, education and medical care.
