Cuba: Palma Soriano showcases business niche at ExpoCaribe

The municipal section of the Foreign Trade, Investment, and International Collaboration in Palma Soriano is exhibiting representative products of a potential business niche at ExpoCaribe 2025.
The section’s head, Yoyma Gonzalez, told Prensa Latina that the stand is the result of a combination of private and state management methods that complemented each other to showcase a product to the Caribbean that expresses identity and development potential.
Gonzalez explained that furniture, clothing, food, beverages, organic products for agricultural use, raw materials, and the stand’s design itself attest to the integration of economic actors.
Leynis Dominique, Marketing Specialist at Dos Rios by-products business unit, explained that Palma Soriano is presenting a range of products at ExpoCaribe trade fair, led by Soriano liqueur, which represents the entire culture and ethos of the territory.
Also, Licodeca Coffee Liqueur, a beverage endorsed by winning First Place at Fiagrop 2024 International Agroindustrial Food Fair, thanks to the quality of a product reached from the joint work between Contramaestre coffee company Lideca and Dos Rios by-products business unit.
The nine municipalities of Santiago de Cuba province are represented at ExpoCaribe 2025 as part of a strategy by the province’s Directorate of Foreign Trade and Investment, which strengthens opportunities for access to external financing sources for local development.
