Cuba on Sunday denounced the United States funding subversive activities, after one million dollars were allocated recently to promote programs of this nature in the country. According to the website cubamoneyproject.com, the US Department of State plans to distribute, before the end of 2020, up to one million dollars to initiatives related to 'civil, political, religious and labor rights in Cuba.'

On Saturday, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez described the call on his Twitter account as a 'flagrant aggression and violation of International Law,' and said 'it will be faced with the full weight of the law.'

Cuban authorities and international organizations have repeatedly denounced the US Government's efforts to manipulate human rights to justify its attacks on countries such as Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela.

Johana Tablada, deputy director for the US Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX), also tweeted that the United States allocated more money to aggression and interference in Cuba's internal affairs.

'Illegally, the Department of State informs that it will distribute one million dollars for subversive projects that justify alleged accusations against the human rights situation in Cuba,' Tablada said.

The MINREX previously warned about US funding, guidance and incitement to groups and individuals to challenge authority.

She also warned about the machine learning deployed on social media to spread false information, incite hatred, divide the population and call for illegality.

Washington informed that it has allocated more than 261 million dollars to subversion projects against Cuba from 1990 to 2020.

According to Cuba Money Project, more than 124 million dollars were paid to 'democratic participation and civil society,' 38 million dollars to 'human rights' and 25 million dollars to 'media and free flow of information.'

Cuba has been the target of a media war developed mainly on social networks and the renowned 'soft coup', a mechanism of indirect foreign intervention created by the US Central Intelligence Agency.
