Belarus, Cuba seek contacts in military sector

A Cuban military delegation led by the commander of the Cuban Revolutionary Air and Air Defense Force is paying a working visit to Belarus. During the exchange of views, Belarus and Cuba expressed mutual interest in the development of contacts in the Air Force and Air Defense Forces, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.

The Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Belarus hosted talks between Major General Andrei Lukyanovich, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus, and Brigadier General Mario Ernesto Rodriguez Penaranda, Commander of the Cuban Revolutionary Air and Air Defense Force. The parties discussed issues of further cooperation and confirmed their mutual interest in developing contacts within the Air Force and Air Defense Forces.
