Aramis Delgado, 2023 National Theater Award Winner

Actor Aramis Delgado has been recognized with the 2023 National Theater Award, according to the decision made by a jury, which met in Camaguey, a city that hosts the main events for the National Theater Day.

A relevant journey in the Cuban stage is awarded. He is an actor who has been part of several renowned Cuban theater groups.

Over fifty institutions made some proposals, which also thought about Raquel Carrió, Juan González, and Miriam Muñoz.

Gerardo Fulleda León, also National Theater Award Winner and member of the jury, highlighted Delgado’s journey, his sensitivity and charm.

Camaguey is hosting these days the Ciudad Teatral Conference Day, scenic meeting gathering theater artists and companies in a programme that takes the place of former National Theater Festival.
