Antonio Banderas Visits Machu Picchu

Banderas, who arrived in Cuzco last Thursday, explored the Inca road system over the weekend with his daughter, Stella del Carmen, and a Peruvian guide.

The 53-year-old actor explored Machu Picchu, considered one of the seven modern wonders of the world, on Monday and then returned to his hotel in a nearby town.

Banderas has also visited the Ninamarca archaeological site and the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Carmen in Paucartambo.

Banderas was in Lima two months ago for a charity event and said he planned to return to Peru to visit Cuzco.

A restaurant in Cuzco, the capital of the Inca Empire, posted a photo of Banderas posing with the staff on its Facebook page.
