Acosta Dance Company Showing Subtlety and Strength

Acosta Dance Company returned to the stage of the Alicia Alonso Great Theater of Havana to present its summer season entitled Verano con tres obras conceived by three foreign choreographers which is a new premier by the young local dancer named Raúl Reinoso.
The related program includes the works entitled’ End of Time’ by the British choreographer Ben Stevenson, ‘Impronta’ by the Catalan María Rovira and the return of the work entitled’ De Punta a Cabp’ which is a version about the original one by Alexis Fernández (Maca) that will have images on video which were carried out by X Alfonso, on this occasion.
The play ‘Satory’ has an original score composed by the musician Pepe Gavilondo and its wardrobe and set was designed by Angelo Alberto and its illumination by the Italian artist Fabiana Piccoli, respectively.
Since its scene debut, Acosta Danza company is aimed at carrying out some related performances, along with the most updated knowledge which are being carried out in the world not only in terms of the body movement bul also all about the scene. It is defined as a space for renovation search and experimentation not only for the Cuban artists but also for the world creators such as choreographers, musicians, designers, painters and the audiovisual ones.
