Sessions In Cuba International Event on Industrial Sector

With more than 2,000 participants from 29 countries, began today in Cuba an international convention and fair of the industrial sector in order to stimulate cooperated productions and foreign direct investments. During the meeting, taking place until next Friday, will session six business forums organized by countries and subject that will allow the signature of several new agreements of business intention, announced the Cuban minister of the Ministry of Industries, Salvador Pardo.

According to him, CubaIndustria 2016 is the space for the establishment of alliances and negotiations for foreign direct investments, the development of projects that contribute to the technological modernization and the substitution of imports.

For the first time, the convention designated a country as a guest of honor and the recognition was granted to the Federation of Russia, due to the high economic impact of the industrial projects promoted here with the support of this Euro-Asian nation, stated the minister.

Among the most relevant initiatives, the official mentioned the modernization of a metallurgical plant in Havana and millionaire investments for the energetic sector.
