Nursing Congresses Slated for Havana in October

Nurses contribution to excellence in health services is the motto of the 14th Congress of the Pan American Federation of Nursing Professionals and the 16th Congress of the Cuban Society of this specialty, which will be held from October 5th to 9th in Havana.

According to the Virtual Health Convention Center, delegates to the meetings will discuss the training of human resources from the scientific-technical perspective, and participation in health policy and health systems, among other topics.

Participants will also talk about nursing skills to prescribe, assign, manage and maintain the systems and therapeutic care plans by clinical and scientific methods.

Parallel to the congresses, there will be other sessions, including: the Neonatal Nursing Alliance Pan American Symposium, the Network of Child Health Nursing, Teaching Nursing, Community Nursing and the Third Meeting of Medical Specialty Networks.
