especiales

Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and Minister of Foreign Affairs, today condemned threats made by the U.S. Secretary of State against countries maintaining legitimate medical cooperation programs with the island.
In a post on his official X account, the Foreign Minister characterized these statements as an act of coercion and aggression, reflecting the new doctrine of U.S. foreign policy centered on the use of force.
Rodríguez Parrilla reaffirmed that Cuba will continue providing its internationally recognized medical cooperation services, praised worldwide for their quality and humanitarian approach.
"The U.S. Secretary of State threatens visa restrictions against governments that engage in legitimate medical cooperation programs with #Cuba. This demonstrates imposition and aggression, with force as the new doctrine of that government's foreign policy. Cuba will continue offering its services."
These remarks come amid increasing pressure from Washington against Cuba's medical cooperation initiatives, which currently benefit numerous developing nations.
Cuba has repeatedly emphasized the lawful and voluntary nature of these programs, which have been commended on multiple occasions by international organizations, including the UN and WHO.
