Cuba and Congo strengthen relation of cooperation in health area

Cuban Ambassador to Congo, Manuel Serrano  Acosta, visited the facilities of the new hospital located in Oyo region that will be inaugurated by President Denis Sassou  Ngueso, next March 14. 

François Ibovi, Congolese minister of Health, who accompanied the Cuba diplomat during the tour, stated to the press, the appreciation to the Government of Cuba for the quick response to Congo's request, sending 192 health professionals to work in said hospital.

Ibovi expressed that the presence of Cuban professionals is another example of solidarity and friendship that has always prevailed between the two nations.

The Cuban Ambassador conveyed his satisfaction for the life and work conditions set up for the Cuban tema. He also highlighted the high level of hospital and considered it might become a reference in Central Africa.
