Kazakhstan Shows Solidarity with Cuba and Fidel

An emotional action of solidarity with Cuba and its historic leader, Fidel Castro Ruz, took place today in the Assembly Hall of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The ceremony was attended by diplomats accredited to Kazakhstan, officials of the Foreign Ministry, deputies of the Mazhilis (Kazakh parliament) and the full Board of the Kazakhstan-Cuba Friendship Association.

Students and representatives of Kazakh civil society also attended the event.

Cuban ambassador Carlos Valdés de la Concepcion thanked the Kazakh institution and the guests for sharing their love and respect for the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
