New Jersey Jackals ends Cuba´s winning streak in Can-Am Baseball league

The Cuban baseball team saw broken its streak of seven straight wins in the Can-Am League when losing 1-3 to the New Jersey Jackals.
The starter and winner of the match, Lee Sosa, only allowed Cubans an unearned run and one hit, batted by catcher Yosvani Alarcón on top of the ninth inning, while Vladimir García took the loss.
Cuba´s other hit was batted by outfielder Yoelvis Fiss off reliever Jose Jose, who took the save.
Garcia had serious problems with his control and gave away five walks, and allowed the three runs of the opposing team, one by homer of outfielder Johnny Bladel.
Now the Cuban squad has a positive balance of 10 wins and eight defeats in its competitive tour of several cities in Canada and the United States, preparatory for upcoming international commitments.
The Caribbean side will face again today the New Jersey Jackals at the close of the subseries, and will complete its performance on Saturday, July 2nd, against Japan's Shikoku Island, team also invited to the Can-Am League.
