Israel has intensified its attacks on the Gaza Strip, killing 85 people in the last 24 hours, according to Palestinian medical sources.
The sources indicated that approximately 53 Palestinian civilians were killed in the north of the Palestinian territory, devastated by Israeli bombardment, another 28 in the central zone of the Strip, and four others in the south.
They further added that the bodies of 38 dead civilians were received at Al-Ahli Hospital, another 15 at Al-Shifa Hospital, 19 at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, nine at Al-Awda Hospital, and the bodies of four others at Nasser Hospital.
Israel unilaterally ended the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and resumed its aggression on the Palestinian territory on March 18, carrying out a wave of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip that has killed at least 13,280 people and left another 56,675 wounded.
Israel has been carrying out a military operation in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, killing 66,148 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and wounding another 168,716.
Furthermore, at least 10,000 people are missing and presumed dead under the rubble of their homes destroyed by Israeli bombardment throughout the Strip.
The Israeli aggression has also forced the displacement of nearly 2 million people from across the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority forced to move to the city of Rafah, near the border with Egypt, in what has become "the largest exodus of Palestine since the 1948 Nakba."
