Vladimir Putin lauds peak of relations between Russia and Cuba

Moscow, Dec 30 (Prensa Latina) Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted the good state of relations between Moscow and Havana in a congratulatory message that he send to Cuban leaders Miguel Diaz-Canel and Army General Raul Castro.
The Russian president’s message on the occasion of Liberation Day, Christmas, and New Year’s Day shows the strengthening of bilateral ties between both countries, the Kremlin press service reported on Friday.
Putin said that Russia-Cuba relations are in a good state, which was fully confirmed during Diaz-Canel’s recent visit to Moscow.
The Russian president noted that he is convinced that the implementation of the agreements reached would facilitate greater development of the mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, economic-commercial, scientific-technical spheres, among others, Moscow reported.
Putin also praised Raul Castro’s personal contribution to the construction of strategic association relations between Russia and Cuba, and wished him good health, vigor, happiness and a long life.
