Cuba Promotes New Recreational Options for the Summer

Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero on Friday toured the Pabexpo fairgrounds in Havana, the site of a recreational initiative that has become a highlight of the current summer season.

The project, organized by the state-run Palco Business Group for the month of August, showcases what can be achieved, officials said, when initiative and the will to do things differently prevail.

“Amid the current challenges, this summer festival is a positive example of the integration of all economic actors for the enjoyment of the people,” Marrero posted on the social media platform X.

Given its popularity, authorities have decided to repeat the festival in December and in future stages, expanding it to other provinces across the island.
