Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba, Jorge Luis Perdomo, today highlighted the solidarity, humanism and social impact of the Quisicuaba Project.

During his visit to the Quisicuaba Agricultural Camp and its Assisted Living Center, located in the Artemisa municipality of San Antonio de los Baños, he noted that the project led by Enrique Alemán Gutiérrez “has given his heart to the people.”

He toured the areas of the Camp, one of the 31 Social Programs deployed by the Quisicuaba Religious Institution, and highlighted the hard work that went into renovating the property until “turning it into a beautiful concept from all points of view.”

People who were inhabitants of the streets of Havana already live in said place, where they make their lives, contribute and live with dignity.

“This is a renewing idea,” Perdomo summarized in conversation with the beneficiaries of this work, “which is a space of the Homeland,” as the religious leader Alemán Gutiérrez distinguished it.

The Agricultural Camp with its Assisted Living Center welcomes people with special social determinants, who after a medical and psychological examination are part of this new type of community of love and peace.
