La Paz, Nov 9 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela today recovered its diplomatic headquarters in the administrative capital of Bolivia, after being sacked by violent groups during the coup d'état against Evo Morales last November and the breaking-off of relations.

President Nicolas Maduro declared that Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza, heading the Venezuelan delegation that participated the day before in the inauguration of President Luis Arce, and Vice President David Choquehuanca, delivered a letter to the government requesting permission for the new Ambassador Alexander Yanez.

Inside the building, Arreaza thanked the struggle of the Bolivian people for the reestablishment of ties with the Bolivarian nation and the overwhelming victory of the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS) in the last October 18 general elections with more than 51 percent.

Yanez, the current deputy foreign minister, was also accompanied by outgoing ambassador Crisbeylee Gonzalez, and by social movements in favor of the reestablishment of relations between the two countries. Gonzalez celebrated the return of the Venezuelan diplomatic representation and recalled that 'in our beloved Bolivia we were declared non grata persona a year ago and today in the joy and hug of the people we return,' spread Correo del Alba on his Twitter account.
