Venezuela FM to Rubio: 'Pathetic obsessive', 'frustrated bureaucrat'

Venezuela's Foreign Minister Yvan Gil Pinto blasted the "pathetic obsessive" US Secretary of State for his controversial remarks classifying several Latin American countries as "enemies of humanity."
Marco Rubio on Tuesday accused Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela of being "enemies of humanity," primarily blaming them for the region's migration crisis.
The Venezuelan foreign minister responded in a forceful statement calling out Rubio's obsession with the nations and exposing his motives.
"It seems he cannot sleep without thinking about Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. Could it be because, despite the hatred he spews and his desire to harm with blockades, sanctions, and aggression, these nations have defeated him time and again with dignity and resolve?" Gil's statement read.
Expanding on that notion, Gil also described Rubio's resentment as "the rage of a frustrated bureaucrat" who reportedly refuses to tolerate the resistance sovereign states show against US policies.
Reciprocating the offense, Gil called the United States an "enemy of humanity," citing the decades of destruction and suffering it has sowed across the globe. Meanwhile, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Cuba set a prime example of resilience, perseverance, and confrontation against external pressures.
The top Venezuelan diplomat concluded his statement with a direct address to Rubio, saying, "You can continue with your sick obsession, Mr. Rubio. Keep barking, because here we will remain, standing tall, defeating your fantasies as always: with sovereignty, resistance, and our heads held high."
