Twelve U.S. states filed lawsuits last Friday to stop President Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

They argue that the measure violates federal law.

The claim was filed in a federal district court in Missouri by Attorneys general from Alaska, Arkansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, and Wyoming.

Eric Schmitt, Missouri Attorney general said in a statement:

“The federal government should not be mandating vaccinations, and that’s why we filed suit today – to halt this illegal, unconstitutional action.”

At the same time, John Formella, New Hampshire Attorney general said that COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective and encouraging but that the benefits “do not justify violating the law.”

Las t week, the U.S. states of Texas and Florida also filed officially their respective lawsuits.

Simultaneously, Republicans nationwide have rejected the mandatory nature of Biden’s COVID-19 vaccines, which would presumably end the pandemic.

To the aforementioned information, we should add a fact of paramount importance.

The report of Cuba’s Minister of Public Health, José Ángel Portal Miranda, before the Parliament, where he summarizes the fight carried out in Cuba to stop COVID-19:

“Cuba enjoys all the guarantees to face this pandemic, with social and health indicators similar to those boasted by first-world countries, highly-specialized human resources, a strong health and science and technological innovation system, as well as a biotechnological-pharmaceutical industry with great prestige, which is strengthened by the research-development of other entities.

“And all that is being implemented despite the unjust, cruel, and inhumane blockade imposed by the government of the United States on Cuba for nearly six decades, whose impact has been pretty significant amid this crisis, as a result of a tightening of all measures and sanctions executed against the island.”

And all these, after the U.S. government set in motion large resources to prevent them from happening, while the rest of the world applauded the success of that historical feat.
