Uruguay's national soccer team begins pre-World Cup training sessions

Montevideo, May 26 (Prensa Latina) The Uruguayan national soccer team began training on Wednesday for the upcoming South American qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
 
At the Celeste Complex in Montevideo, the first players arriving from abroad in Uruguay Fernando Muslera, Diego Godin, Martin Caceres, Ronald Araujo, Lucas Torreira and Rodrigo Bentancur worked out in the gym this morning.

According to the official website of the Uruguayan Soccer Federation, the team coached by Oscar 'Washington' Tabarez will train every day in the morning until Sunday.

On Monday, the team will train in a double program and on Tuesday, June 1 and on Wednesday, June 2, they will practice in the afternoon to complete the preparation before the pre-World Cup clash on Thursday, June 3 against Paraguay at the Centenario stadium in Montevideo.

The next outing for 'La Celeste' will be on Tuesday, June 8, when they will visit the Caracas' Olympic Stadium to face the Venezuelan team as part of the eighth date of the South American qualifiers.
