Turkey praises Putin's statements in response to Biden

Ankara, Mar 19 (Prensa Latina) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday described as intelligent and elegant the response of his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, to statements made by the US president to his country's media.
In an interview to Russia 24 TV channel, Putin wished Biden health and invited him to continue discussions, but online and in a direct manner.
These comments follow the White House chief's earlier remarks to the US press on Wednesday, in which he nodded in response to a question about whether his Russian counterpart was a murderer or not.
Biden's response about Putin is inappropriate for a head of State, Erdogan commented to the national press.
Such comments against the president of a country like Russia are really unacceptable and in my opinion Putin did what was necessary by giving a very, very intelligent and elegant answer, the Turkish leader added.
