Shifty businesspeople vs fool customers
especiales
You can witness almost on daily basis in some of the businesses located on Calzada Avenue, between Paseo Avenue and A street, in Havana’s Vedado neighborhood, the same story: Do you accept transfers? The answer sometimes aims to be friendly, sometimes not, but it is always the same: at this hours, no.
One day, it was 7 am, so the person with the transfer code had not arrived. A few days ago, it was mid-afternoon, but they had "problems with the platform" and if it is 9 pm, they have already exceeded the supposed limit of transfers they can receive in the day (what a weird bank that is lazy to receive a lot of money!).
The most incredible excuse in one of those establishments was that the QR had problems, perhaps it was blurry. Ok, so if I manage to scan it, I can pay. No, it is just that at this time it does not work properly. But hey, is it a special effect that blurs it depending on the time? No, it is just that the owners are already checking the day's transfers at this time...
Anyway...that is the evil thing about some business people in Cuba, who give priority to stop selling before paying the corresponding taxes. Besides, they seem to believe we, the customers, just fell off the turnip truck.
