Seventh meeting of Cuban alumni of Bulgarian Universities held in Havana

The seventh meeting of Cuban alumni of Bulgarian Universities was held in Havana. The meeting was attended by some 120 Cuban citizens, some of whom came from other cities and countries. The whole team of the Bulgarian Embassy in Cuba attended the meeting as well, the diplomatic mission told BTA. 

The meetings have been held since October 2015 and are organized on a rotational basis between the Bulgarian Embassy and the unofficial organizational council of the Cuban alumni of Bulgarian universities. This year's meeting was organized by the Cuban side with financial support from the Bulgarian Embassy, the Foreign Ministry in Sofia said. 

Among the participants was a Cuban man, who studied at the Higher Institute for Physical Education and Sport (today's National Sports Academy) in the 1970s. He even sang a few songs in Bulgarian.
